Confirel products at Thaifex-Anuga Asia

From May 23 to 27 was held in Bangkok Thaifex-Anuga Asia 2023, the largest and most important food exhibition in Asia and Confirel was there. Organized by the Department for the Promotion of International Trade, the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Koelnmesse, the event brought together more than 3000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries from Thailand of course but also, to name the five largest, from China, South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam and Turkey.

Spanning 130,000 square meters of exhibition space, comprising 11 exhibition halls, this vast event attracted more than 60,000 trade visitors, buyers and decision makers from 140 countries.

“This year, we exceeded our expectations by welcoming more than double the number of exhibitors compared to last year. Among these exhibitors are renowned and award-winning brands spanning various sectors of the industry alongside visionary companies that are reshaping the food landscape. By showcasing consumer-driven transformations, we are collectively pushing the boundaries of innovation in the food industry. Additionally, our unwavering commitment to technology and sustainability ensures that we are actively shaping a future of sustainable practices and food,” a Koelnmesse representative said.

For San Mono, Commercial Director of Confirel, the presence of the company has been highly profitable. “In terms of products, our Kampot Kirum pepper and our Kampot pepper inflorescence herbal tea have been particularly well received. In addition, we have been able to establish contacts with around twenty companies producing or distributing food products or cosmetics in Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong and elsewhere. Our participation in this event is very promising,” he said.
